One or More Windows 7 services is the problem for the perfomance issues in swtor's warzones
I have a three years pc with these specs
cpu: amd athlon II 6000+<br /> ram: 4 gb kingston<br /> gpu: nvidia 9800 gtx
Until today i had horrible perfomance and unplayable situations in warzones even in very low settings !!!!! ( lost frames and not smooth game > spikes ) .
I log out and i started searching in the internets for a new setup ( cpu, ram, video card ) and i started with the cpu and i googled for amd fusion apu ( the new cpu with gpu inside the cpu from amd ) .
Google returned many results and a link for fusion utility for desktops .... this utility said that that it gives some perfomance in games ... i installed it and ....
WHAT A BLAST!!! FINALLY I CAN PLAY SMOOTH INSIDE THE WARZONES EVEN WITH SHADOWS AND BLOOM ENABLED ( MEDIUM SETTINGS ) and I HAVE 25 ~ 30 FPS INSIDE WARZONES !!!!
i installed this program and i made only two settings
a) Windows -> High perfomance | and activate
b) AMD -> Gaming | and activate
I run the program After the logging in to server . if you run it before something brakes and not shows you the list of servers

Note : This program is stopping every unnecessary service ( and the windows 7 has TOO MUCH uselles services for a gamer ) while you are playing , even the antivirus !!! if you are not playing just change the mode from gaming to something else or just exit and it will restore it .
Memo : if you helped write here or to the official forum post ( where i was also wrote these informations ) your feedback and put my site's feeds in you feed reader to read first the swtor's developers news

Game booster ( you can download it from cnet ) has the same effect. My comp is 4 years old and i have 20-60 fps in all zones incuding the warzones and fleet.
is this utility combatible with older intel cpu ?
Simply answer NO but there is a workaround in tom's hardware site ( http://www.tomshardware.com/ne... ) where describes how can someone convert this to be compatible with intel cpus . follow the instructions and you will do it by yourself

εγω δεν εχω παλιο υπολογιστη αλλα στον illum το μηχανημα σερνοταν .ετρεξα το προγραμμα οπως ειπες και το lag εξαφανιστηκε εντελως .

το προγραμμα δεν κανει τιποτα αλλα παρα απο το να κανει με αυτοματοποιημενο τροπο οτι θα εκανε ενας εμπειρος παικτης παιχνιδιων . θυμαμαι απο τα πρωτα διαδικτυακα παιχνιδια οτι το να σταματησεις το antivirus και οποια αχρηστη εφαρμογη ετρεχε στην εκκινηση ηταν σημα κατατεθεν .
δεν ειναι τυχαιο οτι το site του blackviper που ασχολειται με τα tweaks των windows ειναι παγκοσμια αναγνωρισμενο .
φυσικα οτι θα πειραξεις στο συστημα σου θα εισαι ο μοναδικος υπευθυνος αν μετα δεν δουλευει αλλα τα guides που βγαζει ειναι πληρως τεκμηρωμενα και θα πρεπει καποιος να ειναι ειται πολυ χαζος ειτε πολυ προχειρος και να προκαλεσει ζημια.
το utility της amd ειναι αψογο γιατι κανει οτι θα εκανε καποιος εμπειρος παικτης μετα απο ωρα αλλα δυστυχως μονιμα μεχρι να το ξαναλλαξει σε πολυ γρηγορο χρονο και ειναι αποριας αξιο γιατι η intel δεν νοιωθει λιγακι ωστε να βγαλει κατι αντιστοιχο.
στην clan μου παραπονιουντε για lag με i5 στα 2.8 ghz στον illum που ειναι απαραδεκτο να συμβαινει κατι τετοιο

έψαχνα έναν τρόπο για να αποδείξω πόσες υπηρεσίες έχουν βάλει στα windows 7 και μόλις το έβαλες ! θυμάμαι που το χρησιμοποιούσαμε παλιά αλλά δεν μου πέρασε από το μυαλό .
