Star Wars Breaks Blu-ray Sales Records

Swtor . In only a week on the market the Star Wars: The Complete Saga on Blu-ray has sold more than one million units , shattering records for the high-definition format, and further cementing Blu-ray's dominance as the home video format of choice.
Despite an average list price of $79.99, the nine disc set generated more than $84 million in worldwide sales. U.S. sales accounted for $38 million of that total, with 515,000 units sold in North America.this number estimating the half sales were from USA and CANADA. Lucasfilm and Twentieth Century Fox have 84 million reasons to celebrate this week;)
As we can see on Blu-Ray.com the box is still in the first place and i am betting it will be for a long time !!!.
The "Star Wars" franchise premiered in 1977 on just 32 screens across the U.S. But soon after receiving high praise from critics and a loyal following, the franchise's popularity skyrocketed, and it has become one of the most celebrated in history. Now more than 30 years later, it appears the titles have yet to lose their appeal.
Much of the success of "Star Wars" on Blu-ray has to do with all the content available to buyers. Aside from the six films, the nine-disc set boasts a host of deleted, extended, and alternate scenes, as well as documentaries ( do not miss my friend's excellent playlist in youtube with the old 14 star wars documentary videos ) more about swtor preorder sales are coming soon !!! from space

Nice vids you got here sir ! subscribed
i recommend it
I honestly kind of expected this. Star Wars is one of the greatest, if not the greatest, movie series in cinema history. You knew all those people who were complaining and spouting off about all the changes, no original trilogy, etc. would mostly go out and get this too. Also goes to show that owning physical media isn't dead and streaming isn't taking over yet. There are those of us who care about quality and having the best possible, because no way streaming can ever top the quality of blu-ray!!
Thanks for using the time and effort to write something so interesting.
